How fun.

Explain.

Do tell...
It’s ok I probably am too.

Well since the state flower is mold, it’s not surprising.

Everything in Florida is covered in mold.

The first month I lived in Florida, I was sick. We quickly discovered our 10 year old house’s AC(which was not even 10), was infested with black mold. All three houses we lived in had mold. TL;DR: Mold is as plentiful as bad drivers.

Man alive, I hate the pinhole slider on the Forza camera. So many a good photo ruined by not looking at the edges of the screen. As for Florida, when I visited I had sensory overload from rain that was actually hot let alone warm. Had to walk ten miles in the English rain to get myself back together.

Mold is always a good sign.

As a fragile-ish asthmatic, it always provides a good time.

Lots of people are actually allergic to roach poop, and Florida is kind of full of roaches.

I know asthmatic people and know how it goes.
![]() 08/27/2015 at 22:04 |

To be fair to Florida though, cold winters are worse. Which sucks, because I fucking love
cocaine
snow.

Florida- where it’s humid as balls and say goodbye to your car’s clearcoat.
![]() 08/27/2015 at 22:10 |
|
I saw many 5 year old cars with peeling clear coat down there. Jokes on Florida, my 4Runner already lost it’s clear coat in California.
![]() 08/27/2015 at 22:12 |

what is it about humidity that kills clear coat?
![]() 08/27/2015 at 22:17 |
|
It’s not the humidity, it’s the sunlight. Even though it rains a lot, there is a reason it’s called the Sunshine State. With the exception of Hawaii, it has the highest UV index in the U.S.

My E38 is a four state ownership history (PA, NJ, NY, FL). Florida explains the peeling clear coat and damaged paint, NY explains the bumper cracks and dings. PA explains the wheel arch rust and NJ has caused the car to play Springsteen’s The River while blasting down the Turnpike.

Ah. That’d do it.
![]() 08/27/2015 at 22:21 |

Mine is CA, VA, FL, AL, FL, PA, FL, and now SC, luckily all of the body ailments are from CA and FL, so rust isn’t an issue.
![]() 08/27/2015 at 22:25 |

Yep. Tint is a must. Mine is 30% up front with darker in the back, but I understand why Florida’s legal limit is 10%, because I would have loved to have it.
![]() 08/27/2015 at 22:25 |

The rust isn’t that bad the previous owners didnt really care about the damn thing so that’s why the rear arches are a tad rusty. Very few car washes and generally BMWs rust by the wheel arches. It’s a decent gauge metal so its not like Subaru wheel arch rust which means cutting it out. I really don’t see any rusty cars in SC, I’m tempted to bring back a wagon or a truck from there.
![]() 08/27/2015 at 22:26 |

I’ve seen rustier cars in Florida, but the salt in the air will do that. I’ve seen so many cheap hatches that normally would have rusted away since I’ve been in SC.
![]() 08/27/2015 at 22:31 |

Kinda.
![]() 08/27/2015 at 22:34 |

Interesting. I always thought tinting of any sort of the windshield or driver side door were illegal. Maybe that was an old wives tail or an Alberta thing.
![]() 08/27/2015 at 22:36 |
|
If you live near the sea and don’t wash your car, it will rust. Benefits of SC are less cases of people high on bath salts, old ass pensioners crashing into the Country Kitchen Buffets, old Cubans in Miami still ranting about Fidel, and the inevitable revolution from the alligators taking back the state.

I meant front windows, not windshield, but a 9” brow is allowed.

There are a bunch of drunks on scooters here though.

Isn’t everyone thoooo???

Thats the normal reaction to florida.
